Taking Shape in Wall Township

Taking Shape in Wall Township

Tucked away near a sprawling preserve in Wall, NJ, a multi-generational custom home is entering the final phases of construction. Built on several private acres, the design reflects both the natural setting and the family’s vision, combining personal touches, detailed architecture, and open living space that will bring everyone together.

The couple welcomed their first child during the design and planning process, adding even more heart to a home already rooted in family. This next chapter will include not just a custom layout and private in-law suite, but a lifetime of memories in the place they get to call home.

Framing to Finishes

CMM teamed up with the couple from the very beginning, even before the land was secured. We introduced them to Michael Melillo of Melillo Architecture, one of our longtime design partners, and worked together to develop the initial plans with lifestyle and long-term vision in mind.

Once the land was cleared, our excavation partner, JTM Site Development, prepared the site for construction. From digging utility lines to carving out the full footprint of the home, their team helped set the stage for what’s now one of the most exciting builds in our portfolio.

To create a high-performance foundation, we worked with Northeast Precast to install Superior Walls®. The precast concrete panels are engineered with integrated insulation, galvanized steel studs, and a 5,000 PSI concrete mix that resists water intrusion. The result is a dry, energy-efficient foundation installed with exacting precision, ready for framing the very next day.

Our team is now focused on setting cabinetry, running mechanicals, and fine-tuning details like custom trimwork and ceiling designs.

Built into Nature

Unlike a typical Shore property with tighter constraints, the spacious lot allows for a more open, flowing design that makes full use of the setting. The backyard will tie everything together, with a pool, covered outdoor space, and landscaping that enhances the home’s connection to the surrounding preserve.
